Ruaha National Park
The Great Ruaha River which is on the eastern side of Ruaha Park, flows to Rufiji River, accommodates hippos and crocodiles. Its vast area makes the park the second largest park in Tanzania.
With its 10,300 sq km Ruaha National Park has beautiful panorama of its topography higher than 500 m. It is a home of birdlife and wildlife that dwell in the banks of River Ruaha.
A large number of elephants and buffaloes, cheetahs, ostriches, gazelles, wild dogs, roan and sable antelopes, lesser kudus and many more can be viewed.
