Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara is located in the Great Rift Valley. This is 100 square kilometers park land while the lake occupied 230 square kilometers. This 100 mile land has a varied terrain with 5 vegetation zones-ground water forest, marshlands, scrub, acacia woodland and grasslands that provide homes for the many animals you may see in this park.

Lake Manyara is also known for its tree climbing lions (Although you are not guaranteed to see them in the trees) and thousand of flamingos. Other Wildlife includes giraffe, elephant, buffalo, waterbuck, zebra, impala, baboon etc. There are also over 350 birds in the park.

Lake Manyara Serena located spectacularly on the Great Rift Valley. The lake Manyara Serena lodge overlooks the Lake Manyara National park, famous for its abundant birdlife. The buildings based on the traditional circular design of Maasai bomas, blend into landscape.
